Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The DMCC Board is scheduled to hold its monthly meeting Thursday and among the items on the full agenda are two new proposed downtown Rochester development projects.

One is a mixed-use development headlined by 156 market rate apartments. The proposed project includes the local Titan Development company, which is controlled by the Chafoulias family. It would be built on the US Bank parking lot site located between South Broadway and 1st Ave SW. It includes commercial space and a two story parking garage.

The other project was recently presented during a neighborhood meeting. It comes from the Hammes Company, which has already been involved in DMC planning. It calls for a new hotel and residential complex that would be built on the current Days Inn site. It would include parking for 300 vehicles.
