Two of Minnesota’s Top Wineries Are Right Here in Southeast Minnesota

Minnesota's craft beer scene is exploding, but did you know Minnesota also has some great wineries? It's true-- and two of the top wineries in the state are right here in our backyard!

According to Trip Advisor's list of the Top Wineries in Minnesota, both Four Daughter's Winery in Spring Valley and the Cannon River Winery in Cannon Falls are both listed among the top five wineries in the state.

Cannon River Winery in Cannon Falls, about 45 minutes north of Rochester on Highway-52, is ranked at #4 on Trip Advisor's list, and I can see why. We've been there with friends several times, and have always had a great time. And, their Gunflint Red is one of my favorites.

Four Daughters Winery in Spring Valley is also listed on the Trip Advisor list. It's even closer, only about 25 minutes south of Rochester on Highway-63. Four Daughters is a really cool place, with some incredible wines, too. If you like red wine, like I do, try their Big Boy Blend-- you won't be disappointed!
