We'd heard earlier this week that the new Chick-Fil-A in Rochester was possibly going to open this month. We now know exactly when it will be!

Thanks to an email I received yesterday afternoon, we can pass along now that you'll be able to get your chicken on at Rochester's new Chick-Fil-A restaurant starting February 1st.

According to a Chick-Fil-A new release, the new restaurant-- under construction in the Crossroads Shopping Center, at 1201 South Broadway-- is franchised by Matt Stockdale. He's no stranger to our area, the release said, noting that he used to spend summers in Rochester and on Lake Pepin near Lake City.

“Rochester really stood out because I already knew what a wonderful community it is based on all the time spent here with my family,” Stockdale said in the release. “We can’t wait to open the doors and introduce Chick-fil-A to this part of Minnesota.”

And, if you like Chick-Fil-A so much that you'd like to work at the first stand-alone Minnesota Chick-fil-A outside the Twin Cities, you're in luck. The release said the restaurant is looking to hire full-time and part-time positions to work in all areas of the restaurant, including leadership positions focused on talent, training and administrative support.
