Minnesota's North Shore of Lake Superior is one of the most picturesque parts of our state, and a two new drone videos show just how beautiful it can be-- especially after a spring snow.

Have you been up along that stretch of the Lake Superior shoreline lately? The stately Glensheen Mansion, located in Duluth, has been closed for some "historic cleaning," but they posted the following two videos on their Facebook page earlier this year, right after one of our Minnesota spring snowstorms dusted the mansion, its buildings and surrounding landscape (including the big lake they call Gitchee Gumee) with a scenic layer of frost.

My wife and I hiked and biked that area of the North Shore about five years ago, and were taken in by how gorgeous the area really is. We're hoping to head back there again sometime later this year. The Gitchee-Gami State Trail is a great bike trail, and we loved spending some time at Gooseberry Falls and Tettegouche State Parks, too.

Check out the cool videos...
