It was just about a month ago that my wife and I spent about a week on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The house in which we were staying was in Corolla, North Carolina, and it literally was right on the ocean. Just a few steps out the back doors, and you were on the beach. Which is why this video caught my eye. This rare shark feeding frenzy -- almost right on the beach -- took place about 100 miles south of where we stayed!According to the video, more than 100 sharks were feeding on a school of blue fish, with some of them getting temporarily beached in the frenzy!  I'd wondered what kind of ocean-dwelling critters could be found in that stretch of the ocean where we were swimming; I'm just glad there weren't any shark sightings while we were there!
