It may not be in world championships, but the Minnesota Vikings are finally number-one in the NFL in something: Arrests over the past five years.

Yes, according to a KARE-11 story, "The Vikings had 18 arrests since August of 2010 -- two more than the Denver Broncos -- to take the top spot, according to a report by former San Jose Mercury News reporter, Mike Rosenberg. Rosenberg notes over a 260-week span, there were 260 arrests in the NFL. The ranking doesn't go in-depth on the exact arrests tallied for each team's total but Rosenberg makes clear he was only looking at player arrests."

Now while the Vikings came in at number-one on the list, the Green Bay Packers were in the middle, tied for 14th place with 8 arrests since August of 2010.

The remainder of the top five were the Broncos in 2nd (16), the Colts and Buccaneers tied for 3rd (13), and the 49ers in 5th (12). The story went on to say the Texans were the least arrested team with only one arrest in the last five years.

But what do these numbers mean? Nobody really knows, as the story notes, "There's no correlation made to how the arrests impact team records, nor does it conclude that arrests have any bearing on wins or losses."
