Everybody's in a hurry these days, and sometimes simple typos make their way into official documents, online posts and other forms of communication. Or apparel-- like these hats recently given to workers at the new Minnesota Vikings Stadium.

Yes, as part of the 'topping out' ceremony at the new US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis (held to celebrate when workers place the last, or highest steel beam on a construction project), the team gave each worker a knit Minnesota Vikings cap.

The only problem was, the hats were embroidered with a typo, which spelled our state as, 'Minesota.' Oops.

According to the Star Tribune, a Vikings team spokesperson said, “The knit hats came from an NFL-licensed vendor and were delivered in boxes directly to the construction site for yesterday’s event. As the hats were being distributed, Vikings employees noticed the typo, immediately contacted the retailer and ordered new hats to be delivered and provided to all construction workers as soon as possible. The team also apologized to Mortenson Construction for the mistake. We greatly value the dedication and effort of the entire stadium work force.”

Of course, now those misspelled 'Minesota' hats are collectors items. Kind of like those Teddy 'Bridewater' jerseys Target was selling last year.
