The Vikings big win over the Packers in Green Bay last night was the first time they've won the NFC North title since 2009-- but it wasn't a surprise to certain members of the Quick Country staff.

First, my cat, Finn, has been doing his weekly Pigskin Picks all season long, where we'd record him picking  who was going to win the Vikings game each week. He ended up with an 11-and-4 record on the season (he didn't do a prediction during week 12-- the week of Thanksgiving-- which is why he only has 15 picks, not 16). And he was right-again last night, too. You can watch his prediction, which was posted on Friday, December 30th, below. (And, he'll be back later this week with a prediction on Sunday's game with Seattle at TCF Bank Stadium.)

But that's not all. Our own Alan Reed, when adding several events to the station calendar in the Quick Country control room, added a prediction for last night's game as well. Yes, in that picture above, you can see that he predicted-- in Vikings' Purple ink, no less-- that Minnesota would beat Green Bay 21-14 on Sunday. The actual score, of course, was a very close 20-13. (That's my 'Ha!' written in blue below Alan's prediction-- and, yes, I couldn't have been more wrong!)

Maybe when Alan gets back I should get him together with Finn and have them pick some Powerball numbers-- those guys are clairvoyant!
