Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - It will be at least two more weeks before there is a recommendation on a proposed redevelopment project at the Miracle Mile Shopping Center.

The Rochester Planning and Zoning Commission delayed a vote two weeks ago after receiving new information and was scheduled to discuss it again at Wednesday night’s meeting. But it was decided to wait until a future meeting after the commission was told it could not take more public input because there had been no notification. The commission closed the public hearing for the project at its earlier meeting.

If proper notification is made, the issue could be on the commission’s October 12th meeting agenda.

The proposal calls for developing 3 ½ acres of the center to accommodate a grocery store, restaurant and other commercial space, along with a multi-family housing project containing 107 units.
