Warning About Phony Phone Calls
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department is passing on an advisory from law enforcement officials in the Twin Cities about another phone scam that’s making the rounds.

Residents have recently received calls from people pretending to be with the “ county attorney “ and asking to verify certain personal information, such as social security and credit card numbers.
A spokesman says if you get one of these calls, hang up and call the cops.
