It's the middle of summer so not everyone's mind is on winter sports like hockey, but Aaron Huglen, a Roseau native, has Golden Gophers fans salivating after he scored an incredible goal for Team USA this past week.

Huglen picked up the puck with his stick and scored an amazing, lacrosse-style goal to give the U.S. a 2-1 lead over Canada in the first period of the Hlinka Gretzky Cup. This is an amazing goal you are going to have to see for yourself!

The goal happens about 48 seconds into the game recap made by USA Hockey.

Huglen committed to the Gophers last August and will play his senior year of high school in the United States Hockey League with the Fargo Force.

Don't forget that the Faribault Lakers will be playing on Power 96 Sunday night at 5 pm in the first round of the state baseball playoffs!
