Weather Impacts Thursdays On First & 3rd Again

Mother Nature hasn't exactly been cooperating with downtown Rochester's weekly celebration the past couple of weeks, and another rainy/stormy forecast has impacted this week's Thursdays On First event too.

According to a post on the Thursdays On First and 3rd Facebook page, today's (8/11) event will be delayed-- and just be cancelled altogether, though will find out more about that later this morning.

The post said, "Due to the unpredictability of the weather, today's Thursdays on First & 3rd will be delayed. As a result, there will be no lunchtime entertainment or lunch service. We will be consulting with the National Weather Service tomorrow morning and provide a cancellation decision by 11 am. We encourage any vendors participating in the market to check their e-mail regarding any weather related updates. For more information and updates visit www.downtownrochestermn.com/tof."

Last week, TOF was cancelled as well, due to the threat of severe weather rolling through southeast Minnesota in the afternoon. This week's event was schedule to feature a beach theme. We'll have the latest right here on quickcountry.com.
