My wife and I were listening to Blake Shelton's latest single, 'Sangria,' the other day, and when it came to a certain line in the song, we were stumped on just what it means.

The line about which we're wondering is the fourth line of the song. Here it is:

"We've got the last two glasses on a straw hood bar
Trying to remember what number we are."

So just what number is it Blake is trying to remember? My first thought was that the number in question they were trying to remember was the number of drinks they had already downed. Especially if you're going to drive home, you've gotta know which number...drink... you're on.

Maybe, though, they're waiting for a table, and they don't remember the number the host gave them. You know, perhaps (though not likely) they keep hearing numbers called for a table, but they don't know which one is theirs. Maybe that's the number they're trying to remember.

Here's another theory: Maybe they don't remember the number of their hotel room. Now, this theory assumes the 'straw hood bar' in which they're having a few drinks is part of a larger hotel or resort, and once they leave the bar (which the song references a little later on), they can't remember which room is theirs.

None of them seem to make a lot of sense. What do you think they mean?
