What Does It Take to ‘Pink the Rink?’

What does it take to "Pink the Rink" for breast cancer awareness? It's quite a process. Last Friday night was "Pink the Rink Night" at the Rec Center for the Rochester Ice Hawks game.

According to Kevin Guy, of Everything Hobby in Rochester, who helped sponsor the process, who said, "The zamboni actually shaves about a half inch of ice off the rink. After that, the rink is flooded with colored water that freezes to create the pink look."
