Or maybe you met an influential person or celebrity, or attended a concert that blew you away. Whatever it was, lets put together a list and share some positive vibes in hopes that it will spill over into 2018 and we will all have another awesome New Year!

For me, I became a grandpa for the 4th time, met some awesome new friends, attended some fantastic LIVE shows, and because I've always been a science nerd of sorts, I had a chance to experience the Great American Eclipse back in August with a whirlwind trip to the heart of the full eclipse zone in central Nebraska. I'm a photography enthusiast as well.

Below are some of the once-in-a-lifetime photos I was able to shoot. I won't bore you with all the details leading up to this whole quickly arranged trip. With the little bit of pre-planning I did do, along with a little luck to boot, I was able to experience an event I may never get to see ever again.....A TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN, smack-dab in the middle of the zone that would give me a whopping 2 minutes & 24 seconds of totality. ~FLASHBACK~
