What Happens When You Let an 8 Year Old Boy “Decorate” Your Cast

Remind me again why I thought it would be a good idea to let him decorate my cast...

When I got my first cast since elementary, everyone kept asking me when I was going to let them sign it. Well, as many of you probably know, I have an 8 year old step son. I promised him he could sign it first. Thank goodness we didn't get around to it until it's almost time to get it off, because here is what he did!!

He started by signing his name in cursive, and writing "I love you"... I then made the great decision to allow him to write/draw more. When I hear him snickering, I knew he was up to no good.

What's that you ask? Well, he apparently thinks writing in cursive means nobody else can read it (seriously, that's what he said). He wrote "poop" in cursive, and next to it "like it?" (he forgot his e). When I told him that he was a butt for doing that, and I didn't like it he called me rude!! Life as boy mom is so cool!
