What Is The Most Misspelled Word In Minnesota?

While Minnesota has several names that give out-of-staters problems in the spelling department (Faribault or Koochiching County, anyone?), what's the one word we Minnesotans most often misspell?

Well, as it turns out, the good folks over at Google Trends have been compiling notes on just which words are Googled the most in each state. (And, warning-- Old Guy Comment Ahead: When was a kid, you had to grab a dusty old dictionary and look up the proper spelling of a word, seeing as the Internet and 'Googling it' hadn't been invented yet...)

Anyway, as this graphic shows, here in Minnesota, we don't know how to spell the word 'broccoli,' because Google says that the most often Googled word here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Over in my home state of Wisconsin, it's 'vacuum' they don't know how to spell. Must be those two letter 'u's that are so tricky.

Either way, though, both of those words are much tougher to spell that then most often Googled word in South Dakota, though: 'Gray.' Really?!? Who can't spell that one?!?
