Numbers don't lie. More than 70% of parents steal their kiddo's candy. Halloween candy is just not the same without a bottle.. I mean, glass of wine!

Here are MY personal favorite recommendations:

    Tootsie Rolls

    Medium Red Wine

You’ll want to keep this suggestion in your back pocket if you have kiddos! Why? Are you telling me you don’t already have Tootsie Rolls laying around your house from parades and birthday parties? The dark chocolate will pair perfectly with a medium red wine. A semi sweet red blend is my recommendation. My absolute fave is 19 Crimes. (An amazingly perfect Australian wine that is definitely a crowd pleaser!) If you prefer cold red wines, find yourself a bottle of Stella Rosa or Roscato.

    Candy Corn

    Moscato

If you’re brave enough to eat plain candy corn, grab a bottle of Moscato to wash it down. My favorite Moscato, Luccio Moscato D’asti, goes with EVERYTHING! Especially candy corn…

    Snickers and/or M&M's

    Bold Red

Chocolate with wine. Is there anything better? A bold red wine is a must with chocolate. Try Menage Midnight OR Apothic Dark.

    Butterfinger

    White Wine

What better to pair with a Butterfinger than a buttery white wine. Try Hess. It’s delicious.

    Skittles or Starburst

    Sweet White Wine

Apparently, studies suggest pairing this already-sweet treat with a sweet white wine like a Moscato or Riesling. My recommendation is Starling Castle Riesling. It’s sweet, but definitely not as sweet as a Moscato.
