What’s Your Favorite Holiday Snack?

The holidays are here and with that being said, we thought about what was the best snack to serve. There are always some sort of Christmas cookies and mine have to be the sugar cookies with frosting. And not the crunchy cookie, either.

And I love hors d'oeuvres, which is described as "An appetizer or starter – is a food item served before the main courses of a meal." Typically smaller than a main dish, it is often served hot or cold.

Some people enjoy a variety of dips, with chips or crackers. Maybe for some, it's cocktail wieners in sauce. I have 2. One is the incredible delight called 'pickle roll-ups'. The other is deviled eggs. I actually get excited when I see them at a family gathering. I will wait until everyone has gone through and then load up on the left over treats.
