Remember when you turned 30, and thought you were old because you didn't like MTV anymore?  And you and your friends started hanging out at home instead of heading out on the weekends?  Well, guess what?  You weren't old then. And, if you're like me-- in your 40's-- you're still not old. Really!  So at what age do most people start to 'feel old'?

Well, according to a new survey that asked people over 50 to look back at when they really started feeling old, and the most common answer was the big 5-0.

That's right, 80% of people said they didn't truly start worrying about their age until 50, so if you worry before then, you're just taking your youth for granted. Only 5% of people started worrying about being old at age 40. I wouldn't say I started worrying about being old when I turned 40, but it DID make me pause and think that I'm not 'just a few years out of college,' like I tend to think I am.

The survey also found the top things people worry about once they DO feel old. The top ten worries are:  health issues, serious illness, their mind failing, becoming forgetful, losing independence, losing sight, being a burden to others, their body failing but their mind staying fit, money, and having to go to a nursing home.
