Where’s the Worst Road in Southeast MN?

While traveling to the Viola Gopher Count last week, I couldn't help but wonder how bad Highway 42 is. In some spots, there are patches on top of patches. It was a bumpy ride and it's even worse on a motorcycle.

Do you know if there are plans to have it re-surfaced soon? Are there worse roads in southeastern MN? Where is the worst road in the area? My vote is Highway 42. - Alan
