Which Kind of Emailer Are You?

A co-worker recently asked me this question, and it got me thinking: Which kind of emailer are you?

My co-worker, James, asked for a picture from our smart phones that showed how many unread emails are in our accounts. (He was trying to tease a friend who can't stand to have ANY unread emails in her account.)

But it occurred to me that there are really two kinds of people: Those, like James' friend, who clear out all their emails as soon as possible, so there are no unread emails just hanging around; and there are those of us who don't clear out ANY emails, they just keep accumulating in our accounts.

Guess which one I am? 

Take a look at how many emails I have hanging around in my email account: That's right, nearly 15,000! That's going to take awhile to go through. Now, in my defense, that's from my own personal account, and includes a ton (obviously!) of spam emails, advertising offers, and social media alerts.

At this point, I'm pretty much left with just deleting EVERYTHING out of there and starting over.
