Who’s Going to be the First Act to Play at the New Vikings Stadium in Minneapolis?

The new Vikings stadium in downtown Minneapolis -- which we now know is called U.S. Bank Stadium -- is about a year away from opening. And, to celebrate the stadium opening being only 12 months away, stadium officials are giving away 12 pairs of tickets to the first concert in the new venue. But just who's it going to be?

Well, stadium officials aren't exactly saying...yet. Nor are they saying when the frist concert might take place. But don't let that stop you from entering the contest to win a pair of VIP tickets to the first show, no matter who or when it might be. You can register to win HERE.

And, according to a story from CBS Minnesota.com:  "Patrick Talty, new general manager of venue management firm SMG, said he wants everyone to get excited about the show and people from all music genres to enter to win the tickets. Registration is easy. Entrants are only required to enter their name, phone number, address and date of birth. The deadline to enter the giveaway is Aug. 6. Winners will be announced on social media through Twitter and Facebook the week of Aug. 3."

So, who do you think will play the first concert at the new U.S. Bank Stadium? Garth Brooks? Katy Perry? Taylor Swift? Madonna? Until last Monday, I would have said maybe Blake Shelton AND Miranda Lambert, but I'm guessing that's not going to happen anytime soon-- new stadium or not!
