Why Are High School Teachers In Rochester Not Getting Any Love?

Rochester should have a lot going for it this year. It's one of the biggest cities in Minnesota, it has one of the best medical communities in the world, and it's only going to get bigger with the DMC. It's also commonly recognized as a great place to raise a family.

So considering all of that, you'd think that some of the best teachers in the state would be here, right?

(Disclaimer: I didn't go to school here and am child-free. I'm just askin' the questions!)

A ranking specialist recently put together a list of the Top 50 Minnesota Public High Schools With The Best Teachers For 2019, based on factors like student and parent ratings of teachers, teacher salaries, teacher absenteeism, teacher tenure, student-teacher ratio, and more.
