Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? I drive down Highway 14 on my way to and from work every day. I’ve quickly discovered that anytime it seems there’s a mini-traffic jam, more often than not it’s because there’s one car ahead of everyone that’s driving between 5 to 15 miles under the speed limit (with no cars in front of them). I swear, I’ve given more of these drivers the stink eye within the past year than I can count. Half the time, they’re on the phone. Otherwise, these people will drive up and down US-52 like they’re in a freaking parade. It is infuriating. I can’t explain why having to drive 25 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone feels so obnoxiously slow, but it totally does.

If you’re one of these drivers, can we come to a compromise? I guess I can live with you going 35 on Highway 14 if the idea of matching the 40 mph speed limit absolutely terrifies you. But when you're going 40 in a 55 mph zone, I should legally be allowed to throw eggs at your car.
