Well firstly, you get a deal. On Saturday, May 12th you can camp for just $20. BUT, more importantly, that money will be donated to KOA Care Camps for children with cancer.

What are KOA Care Camps? It's a network of 125 specialized, medically equipped summer camps throughout North America that allow children battling cancer to enjoy a true summer camp experience at no charge to their families.

This is the KOA Campgrounds' 15th annual KOA Care Camps Big Weekend. Camping at any KOA location will help raise money. We do have a KOA right here in Rochester. It's the Rochester/Marion KOA Journey Campground. There is also an Albert Lea/Austin location, a few in the cities, a location in Bemidji and one in Duluth.

To reserve a site or lodging for this special weekend, go to KOA.com and click on the Big Weekend event box. For a complete listing of participating KOA campgrounds.

Don't want to camp or can't that weekend, but still want to donate. You can do so online right here.
