Wind Advisory for Southeast Minnesota Today

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for all of southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.

Winds will be out of the west, which means that if you're traveling north-south, you may encounter some driving problems, especially if you have a light-weight or high profile vehicle.

Winds will be around 30-40 mph today, but could gust as high as 55 mph. Keep an eye on your garbage dumpsters and loose tree branches.
