The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area. A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible. Conditions will be bad overnight and even worse tomorrow morning.

Their warning says: "Hazardous travel will develop across the area late tonight into Tuesday morning with the worst conditions developing after 7 AM. Snow accumulations of 6 to 8 inches with localized amounts to 11 inches are expected across southeast Minnesota into central Wisconsin. Snow accumulations across northeast Iowa are expected to range from 4 to 6 inches."

The warning is in effect from 1 A.M. Tuesday Morning through 4 A.M. Wednesday.
