Winter Storm Watch Issued for Southeast Minnesota

Nasty cold weather is expected to continue this week and heavy snow is in the forecast for Friday. 

Another six to eight inches of snow is possible from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning for Rochester and Southeast Minnesota. This quick video from the National Weather Service in La Crosse explains the weather threats we are facing this week:

Travel will be impacted. If you have travel plans on Friday, please keep an eye on the forecast, and allow yourself extra time to reach your destination safely. You can get updated road conditions from MnDOT anytime, here.
