Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Not only did a California man end up in the wrong Rochester - he was also busted for drugs Thursday at the city airport.

Rochester police were called to the airport to arrest the man after TSA officers discovered he had put some methamphetamine and heroin in a collection bin while passing through the security checkpoint.

Police say 55-year-old Richard of Boulder Creek, California arrived at the airport earlier and had to rebook after discovering he was in Rochester, Minnesota instead of Rochester, New York. He said he was headed there for his child’s graduation.

Instead, he spent the night in the Olmsted County jail.
