A hockey stick and clay pigeon go hand in hand, when it comes to shooting skeet in Canada! (Pfft....I'm sure it's already been done here in Minnesota, right?)

During the snowy, cold winter months in Canada, it’s a great time to embrace the popular sport of hockey. It’s also a perfect time to shoot skeet! All it takes is a ramp, a hockey stick and a shotgun!

Watch as each clay pigeon is given a slap shot into the air! We witness a multitude of great overhead angles, from what appears to be a drone, hovering above the action.

There’s no doubt that this clever duo definitely takes skeet shooting to a whole different level. Proof of that is in the telltale sign of each clay, exploding into tiny fragments, as it is propelled skyward, and taken down by a shotgun.

Looks like a great way to work on that power play goal, and get reps for bird hunting season, all at the same time! [WATCH THE VIDEO]

DISCLAIMER: Do NOT Try This At Home! At the very least, go out to a frozen lake in a remote location, well away from the shoreline, and make sure you are properly familiarized with the safety requirements to shoot a firearm of this type
