You'll have to register early, but it will be so worth it!

Looking for an inexpensive activity to hang with the kids? Bonus: this one burns their energy too, because it involves hiking!

On February 26th, from 1:30 - 2:30pm, Quarry Hill Nature Center in Rochester is hosting a hike that ends at the sandstone cave! So, yes, this means you get to check out a cave!

They explain that you can, "learn about the Park's many historical structures before heading to the sandstone cave, built in 1882. After the cave tour, participants may join in on an optional hike to a featured site. Registration is recommended as cave tours often fill; call 328-3950. This month's featured hike: Pond $2/adult, $1/child and free to members."

From what I understand, if you miss this one, there appears to be about one a month - so you can catch the next one in a few weeks or in March too. Check it out! Does this sound like something your kids would be into?
