Have you ever heard of Caitlyn Smith? If you haven't, you will and very, very soon!

Caitlyn is an up-and-coming country artist who is finally getting her big break in country music. She's had big success as a songwriter but now, she is getting her time to shine in the spotlight.

Caitlyn was born and raised in small town Minnesota, which certainly gives her a lot to write about as a country artist. Thanks to a hit song with Old Dominion, she is gaining big attention.

We reported on said song back in February. Caitlyn released a deluxe version of her sophomore album, Supernova. The rerelease includes a song reimagined as a duet and the rest is country music history. The tune is called "I Can't" and it will be stuck in your head the second it is over!

Like I said, the song is currently blowing up on the country charts, sitting pretty in the top forty. It has been on a nice, steady climb since it was released and my fingers are crossed it goes all the way to the top!

This isn't Caitlyn's first big song though. Back in 2015, she scored a monster hit, penning a song released by Meghan Trainor and John Legend. It went number one, sold millions of copies and is among both artists biggest songs to date. It also has close to one billion streams on YouTube.
