A Difficult Tuesday Morning Commute
Several inches of snow fell across the region yesterday afternoon and evening. Blowing snow is currently creating travel issues across our listening area. Your morning commute could be difficult today. The Minnesota Department of Transportation is reporting all area highways are covered with snow. Take a look at the map below and you'll see two colors - pink indicates roads that are partially covered, blue shows roads that are completely covered.
This update was provided by MnDOT at 5:00 AM. You can always see real-time road-conditions on our mobile app. Mostly sunny skies are expected for the rest of the week with little chance of additional snow. It will be cold on Wednesday and Thursday with high temps on those days around 10 to 13 degrees and lows falling to 2-below tonight and 11-below tomorrow night.
