This business has been called the most trusted retail brand in America. It now has 11 locations in Minnesota, and even if you've previously patronized this business, you've likely never set foot in one of its locations here in the North Star State.

Like most states, many of us love to shop here in Minnesota. Which is convenient, since a new survey says the Most Trusted Retail Brand in the country now has nine locations in our fair state.

The Land of 10,000 Lakes has been home to some massively popular, well-known and trusted brands over the years. Familiar brand names like Best Buy, Target, Caribou Coffee, 3M, General Mills, and more all call the North Star State home.

And now a new survey from Clarify Capital points out that *this* national retailer (which Minnesota Monthly says is one of the 50 largest employers in Minnesota) now operates 11 different facilities in Minnesota while retaining its title as America's most trusted retail brand.

The survey looked at several areas, including Most Trusted Restaurants, Most Trusted Technology, Most Trusted Media, and Most Trusted Finance. But it was their Most Trusted Retail Brand that was the most interesting because it includes a familiar Minnesota name:

  • Walmart
  • Target
  • Macy's
  • Albertsons
  • Lowes

But while those made the Most Trusted Retail Brand list, none of them are as trusted as the brand that came in at number one on the survey: Amazon. And, did you know that Amazon-- the online retailer-- actually has 11 locations here in the Gopher State?

While that stat may seem a bit misleading, because as we know, there aren't ANY Amazon RETAIL locations-- it's an online business only-- but there ARE 11 different Amazon Fulfillment Centers, Amazon Sortation Centers, Amazon Delivery Stations, plus a technology hub, all sprinkled throughout Minnesota.

According to this online list by sellersnoopers, you can find Amazon Fulfillment Centers in the following Minnesota locations:

  • Shakopee
  • Lakeville
  • Brooklyn Park
  • Egan
  • Minneapolis

Then, you can also find Amazon Sortation Centers located in Woodbury and Maple Grove, as well as Delivery Station and other Amazon facilities in Bloomington, Blaine, and Minneapolis, as well as a technology hub in the Minneapolis North Loop neighborhood.

And, this Amazon Wikipedia entry notes that one of Amazon's global corporate offices is also located here in Minnesota, in Minneapolis as well. Of course, you don't need to visit ANY physical Amazon location to be an Amazon customer, as their sales and business model are all online.

However, having these locations in Minnesota explains how Amazon is often able to ship an order to your address in a very quick amount of time. Amazon didn't exist before 1994, but is now one of the most recognized brands in the world. Keep scrolling to check out some other previous famous brands that NOW no longer exist!
