Yes, according to the Vikings, who'll, of course, call the new stadium home later this year, crews finished installing the last of the brand new purple seats inside the huge structure earlier this week.

There were officially 58,000 fixed seats installed, along with 6,000 retractable seats. And the process took only nine months to complete, according to this KARE 11 story. Overall, capacity for the new stadium will be 66,200, the story said.

And, officials say, it'll be a lot more roomy than the cramped, outdated Metrodome used to be. "You are going to feel a lot more space. They are larger than the old dome seats. Anywhere from an inch to an inch and a half wider than all of the old dome seats. I think people are going to feel much more comfortable," Michele Kelm-Helgen, chair of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, said in the KARE story.

The new stadium is set to open this summer, with Luke Bryan playing the first-ever concert on August 19th.
