Are Hard Seltzers or Light Beer More Popular in Minnesota?

When it comes to quenching your thirst and keeping an eye on those calories during the summer, what's more popular in Minnesota: Hard seltzers or light beer?
While I enjoy a good fermented malt beverage pretty much any time of the year, I do have to say that an ice-cold light beer sure hits the spot when the temperature and humidity are both soaring here in Minnesota.
I'm not much of a fan myself, but I know seltzers like White Claw or Truly are very popular here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes during the summer. Plus, many local craft breweries here in Minnesota have been making their own hard seltzers, as well.

But which one is more popular here in the North Star State? That's the question the crew over at e-conolight decided to answer. So what's more popular here in Minnesota? As it turns out, we're more light beer lovers here, with Coors Light coming in as our most popular low-calorie drink here in the Bold North. Coors Light was also the most popular summer drink in Wyoming too.
Meanwhile, it's no surprise, seeing as it's headquartered over in Milwaukee, but Miller Lite is the most popular low-calorie summer beverage over in my home state of Wisconsin. And down in Iowa, the most popular low-calorie summer beverage is Busch Light.
Hard or spiked seltzers were the most popular summer drinks in states like California, Washington, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. You can check out the full map below.
