Northfield's Winter Walk, which has been voted the best holiday event in Southern Minn Scene Magazine since 2013, draws crowds from near and far. This one-night festival is extraordinary, and is definitely worth a visit.

Not only will storefronts and streets be beautifully decorated, but Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer, and others will all be in attendance! 

Northfield's Winter Walk Events And Attractions:

Tree Lighting Ceremony--Bridge Square at 5 pm

Start your evening with a magical tree lighting ceremony followed by a performance by Northfield’s Middle School Choir. Over 50 Students will entertain the crowds and even lead a few sing-alongs.

FREE Horse & Wagon Rides from 5 pm to 9 pm

Looking for a relaxing ride through town? Head to Northfield Library, Bridge Square, or 5th & Division.

Northfield Public Library Magic of Model Trains--210 Washington--Open from 3:30 to 8 pm

5:30 pm: Northfield Troubadours Men's Choir in Dance Studio

6 to 8 pm: Winter Art Making in Art Studio

7 pm: NAG Cracker Performance in Dance Studio

5 to 9 pm: Fine Craft Collective in Main Gallery

In addition, you can participate in Northfield's largest winter scavenger hunt by looking for a metal Christmas snowflake located somewhere within Northfield's city limits.
