There are many lucky pets who have found their forever home throughout this pandemic but there's a pair of dogs still waiting for their turn at Paws and Claws Humane Society in Rochester. Meet Kodi and Maggie. They're a unique pair that need to be adopted together. Why? Kodi is blind and Maggie is like his seeing-eye guide dog.

Kodi is a Shiba Inu mix while Maggie is a Basset Hound mix. They label Kodi as being small and he's a cream color. They say Maggie is more medium-sized and is a tan color.

They're both older dogs that have been at Paws and Claws since the beginning of December. Kodi is coming up on his 7th birthday and Maggie is close to 11. They aren't the most likely looking duo but as they mention on the Paws and Claws website, they rely on each other for comfort.

Kodi and Maggie arrived at Paws and Claws from another shelter because "their owner was no longer able to keep them." Anyone who is interested in adopting these two needs to keep in mind that since Kodi is blind they "will need to accommodate his needs to help keep him comfortable and safe."

The adoption fee is $300 for the two of them plus $20 per dog to get them microchipped (plus tax).

Let's help find these two a loving home!
