A few months ago, most of us never heard of the coronavirus and had no idea what we were all about to face.  When the news broke that restaurants and bars, all places of entertainment, workplaces, gyms, and parks were shutting down, we were hopeful that the closure would be short and life would return to normal.  Unfortunately, we aren't back to normal, and we are continuing to see more closures.  One of the latest is a camp that many in Minnesota have grown to love throughout the years - Camp Olson.

CEO, Russ Link, shared the sad news in a video that was posted on the camps Facebook page.

"We waiting patiently for the snow to melt and the ice to disappear, and we were hopeful the coronavirus would do the same, unfortunately, it has not.

It continues to affect our lives our livelihood and the opportunity for us to share the spirit of the northwoods with you this summer.

We are heartbroken by this decision...we have canceled all programming this summer.  What would have been our 66th summer."
