Carrie Underwood has been showing her face more and more after November's gruesome fall that left her with 40 stitches in her face. She's performed her new single, "Cry Pretty," live, she's shared close-up selfies, and now she's posing in photo shoots for her athletic clothing line, CALIA by Carrie Underwood.

On Wednesday (April 25), PEOPLE gave an exclusive first look at the shoot, sharing a photo of the country star swinging a kettlebell. It's hard to believe that she had a broken wrist less than six months ago.

"I'm so proud of this collection," the American Idol winner gushes to PEOPLE, and rightfully so. It's been a long road to recovery for the 35-year-old, and it's so nice to see her  comfortable and back in the public eye.

She recently gave more information about her accident during an interview on iHeartRadio's Bobby Bones Show.

"I was just taking the dogs out to go pee-pee one last time and I just, I tripped," she explained. "There was one step, and I went—I didn't let go of the leashes, priorities! So, that's why my left hand's fine. But I went to catch myself and I just missed a step. If I had fallen anywhere else I would have been perfectly fine, but it was one step that messed everything up."

"[I fell] around my mouth," she continued, adding that she was "very fortunate" throughout her healing process. "I was lucky that when it happened, everything was kind of shutting down in the music world and we had the holidays and stuff like that. But I was at a point where I didn't know how things were going to end up. I didn't know what was going to go on and didn't know what it was going to heal like."
