Did you know that Minnesota has a whopping 145 waterfalls?! It was definitely hard to narrow it down to 10 when there are so many fantastic ones out there, but I think I found the best ones and the photos along with awesome reviews from visitors back up my picks.

Hello gorgeous! This is a picture of Minnesota's tallest waterfall located in Grand Portage State Park. Wait until you see photos from up top. There are three viewing decks at High Falls.

There's also some stellar hiking as well. According to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources website, "the 4.5 mile round-trip hike to Middle Falls is a very rugged trail with several hundred feet of elevation change, and provides more of a wilderness experience."

Can't make it out in the near future? No worries, waterfalls can be enjoyed year round. Even when they are frozen. Just make sure to check online before loading up the car just to make sure they are open and flowing. Especially the smaller falls. With this strange weather we've been experiencing, you never know.
