Cool Listener Makes My Day
Listeners like Gabe make my day. I answered the studio line and heard Gabes Mom Andrea, ask to make a request for her son. She requested "My Church" by Maren Morris, which is one of the coolest songs we play at Quick Country 96.5.
She said she and her son were on their way to Mayo Clinic for his bone marrow biopsy. Yes, I played the song and wished him a lot of love. As I talked to her later, she said he had the song cranked up and was singing as loud as he could!
