Usually pets can't move to college when your kid does, so you take over the care. Usually not a big deal...but for this Massachusetts Dad it was everything. He was in charge of his daughter's hamster, and it took off, and the messages he and his daughter shared are everything.

Steph Veerman Tweeted, "my dad took over my hamster once i went back to college and ended up getting really attached and today he escaped and this goes to prove how truly pure my father is" --- and she is so right. A father and a daughter you can tell are close.

She said in later Tweets that she absolutely LOVES her hamster, but dad was having a panic attack, so she was trying to calm him down. Also, this is the super-updated version, where we get the end of the story.

Finally, judging by this Tweet, she's worth following!
