
Deer Causes Deadly Motorcycle-Car Collision
Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol is now saying one person was killed and another was severely injured when a deer collided with a motorcycle yesterday in Winona.
The State Patrol report says a 55-year-old O’Fallon, Illinois, man was driving a motorcycle north on Highway 61 when a deer ran onto the roadway and crashed into the motorcycle, causing Bradley Titze lose control and veer into the southbound lanes and collided with a car driven by a 48-year-old Winona man.
The driver of the car was not hurt, but the motorcycle driver’s injuries were described as life threatening and his passenger, 57-year-old Amanda Titze of O’Fallon, Illinois, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The State Patrol did not identify where Bradley Titze was transported for treatment following the 4 p.m. crash.
