Disney's new streaming service is set to launch on November 12th, and the cost is pretty reasonable, $6.99/month, $69.99/year, with a free 7-day trial, you know, to see if you really like it. You can also bundle Disney+ with Hulu and ESPN for $12.99/month. You can sign up early to get Disney+ at its launch, but, the bundle is not yet available to sign up for, you need to wait until the launch date at this time.

Disney put out a series of tweets letting the world know what is coming to their streaming service, and the list of content is too long to share in its entirety. There will surely be something for almost everyone to watch. Including the older releases that made up my childhood, and I can now have my children watch.

Disney classic animated movies including:

  • "Snow White"
  • "Pinocchio"
  •  "Beauty and the Beast"
  • "The Aristocats"
  • "The Little Mermaid"
  • "Robin Hood"

Live-action movies:
    • "Miracle on 34th Street"

  • "The Swiss Family Robinson"

  • "Davy Crockett,"

  • "The Love Bug"

  • "Old Yeller"

Mixture of live-action and animation:

  • "Bedknobs and Broomsticks"
  • "Who framed Roger Rabbit?"
  • "The Muppet Movie"
  • "The Muppet Christmas Carol" (one of my all-time personal favorites; "Light the lamp, not the rat!")

And they will also have the Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies, the original "Star Wars" trilogy movies, and the Disney-Pixar films.

Disney now owns 20th Century Fox Studios, so "Simpsons" fans will be able to get their fix with all of the seasons streaming.

There is a countdown on the Disney+ preview website, so you know just how long you have to wait to begin streaming. I can't wait, I am excited about this new service. I already subscribe to HULU, so I am sure to bundle it. And all in time for the Holiday season, when it's nice to unwind with a classic movie, or TV show, after the hustle and bustle of getting ready for the holidays.
