Back in March, our entire city closed up as we were getting ready to combat Covid-19.  So many places that people rely on for help were also closed, including the Dorothy Day Hospitality House, which is a temporary homeless shelter in Rochester. They are ready to reopen but before that happens, they are in need of a few items to help keep everyone safe.

As we move closer to reopening the House in a limited capacity, we are in search of face masks and cleaning supplies (alcohol-free sanitizer, Clorox wipes, etc.).  - Dorothy Day Hospitality House Facebook Page

Next time you are making a mask or putting in that online order for Amazon or at the store, if you can, add one or two items for the Dorothy Day Hospitality House, they would greatly appreciate it.

If you've got items that you can donate or would like to know more info, send an e-mail to ddhouse@gmail.com or click here to go to their Facebook page and send them a message.

Is there an organization or nonprofit in the area that has helped you during Covid-19?  I'd love to hear your story. Send me a message on my Facebook page (Jessica On The Radio) or DM me on Instagram.
