Eyota Man Sentenced for Child Porn Conviction
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Eyota man has been sentenced to five years on probation for a child pornography conviction.
22-year-old Wyatt King earlier pleaded guilty in Olmsted County Court to three felony counts for the possession of child porn. Under the terms of his plea deal, 8 addition felony charges were dropped.
The charges were filed against King earlier this year based on evidence gathered by Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department investigators acting on a tip by an internet vendor. The tip concerned suspicious activity on an account and the IP address was traced to King. A search warrant was obtained for his phone, which was found to contain 138 images and 15 sexually explicit videos, including many suspected of depicting children.
