Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Minnesota State today released the names of the 3 finalists for the job of president of Rochester Community and Technical College. The candidates were recommended by a search advisory committee that included RCTC students, faculty, staff, and community leaders. Officials say the finalists are currently scheduled to visit the Rochester campus between next Tuesday and Thursday to meet with students, faculty, staff and Rochester residents.

Minnesota State Chancellor Devinder Malhotra will make a final recommendation to the higher education system’s Board of Trustees, which is expected to vote on that recommendation at a meeting on March 21st. It’s hoped the new president will be ready to report for work at the beginning of July and succeed interim RCTC President Mary Davenport. She is retiring after serving two years as the interim leader of the campus.
