Four Hurt in Rochester Traffic Wreck
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Four people were hurt in a traffic wreck in southeast Rochester Thursday.
The wreck happened around 6:00 PM at the intersection of 12th St and 15th Ave SE, near Cub Foods.
A police report indicates a car driven by 57-year-old Mark Onderak of Rochester turned in front of an oncoming vehicle.
The other driver was identified as 26-year-old Casio Gilliam. There were two passengers in his vehicle, 19-year-old Cheyenne Hawk and 50-year-old Elizabeth Nordby. All are from Rochester.
The two women were still being treated at St Marys Hospital Friday morning. Nordby was listed in serious condition, Hawk was fair.
Gilliam was ticketed for disobeying traffic signal and no proof of insurance. A police spokesman says witnesses told investigators he was driving at a high rate of speed and his vehicle entered the intersection after the traffic light had switched to red.
